    West Baton Rouge Museum

    There’s something fishy going on at the West Baton Rouge Museum. We are casting a line to capture an audience to help us welcome artist, Katherine Klimitas! Join us as we celebrate her latest exhibition of work entitled Off the Hook: A Journey Beneath the Waves. On Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 2 – 5 PM, meet the artist, view this vibrant collection of watercolor paintings depicting scenes under the sea, and enjoy refreshments and related art and ecological activities. There will also be live Cajun music presented by the Cajun French Music Association’s Le Jam starting at 3 PM where visitors are welcome to sing, dance, or join in with their own acoustic instruments. Stay awhile to take in the surroundings of colorful fish and seascapes adorning the museum walls.
