Jason Manola, Parish President
Parish President Jason Manola, a native of Brusly, Louisiana, shares a deep connection with West Baton Rouge Parish, where he and his wife, Tricia Gascon Manola, have been lifelong residents. With 32 years of marriage, they are proud parents of two sons and grandparents to one grandson. His eldest son, Blake is married to Taylor Toups Manola, with one son Christian. His youngest son, Conner Manola is engaged to Jennifer Windham.
Jason's educational background includes a degree in Accounting from LSU, and he is a Certified Public Accountant. Over the years, he has gained a wealth of experience, spending five years with Hannis T. Bourgeois CPA’s, fourteen years as the Gulf Region Chief Financial Officer of Ports America, and the last fourteen years as the Chief of Administration for West Baton Rouge Parish Government. In his administrative role, he oversaw major infrastructure improvement contracts, managed day-to-day operations across departments, and handled the parish government's budget, which amounted to approximately $80 million.
Notably, Jason served 20 years on the West Baton Rouge Parish School Board, with 18 of those years as the School Board President. His commitment to education extends beyond the boardroom, as he has been actively involved in the community by volunteering as a coach and mentor since his college days.
Jason envisions a future for West Baton Rouge Parish characterized by responsible growth, aiming to create a community where future generations take pride in calling it home, much like he and his wife do. His multifaceted experiences, both professionally and in community service, reflect a comprehensive understanding of the parish's needs and a dedication to its well-being.
